Dressage and combined training

Pure Dressage is a Team competition and individual competition that is ridden in the larger arena (60 x 20). It is for anyone over 12 and for ponies and horses alike. To get to the festival you must qualify at your Area 3 qualifier that is run by the clubs in your area in July. The Dressage tests for these competitions are posted on the Irish Pony Club website or can be obtained from our representative.

Combined Training consists of Dressage and Equitation style jumping. It is an individual competition. As the Dressage, you must qualify at your Area qualifier. The under 12's don't qualify for the festival but have a competition at the Area qualifier. There is also a qualifier for the Combined Training competition at the RDS at Intermediate and Members level.
