Tipperary Hunt Pony Club
Rallies and pony club camp
Parents Information for Camp 2020
NOTE TO PARENTS
Camp commences and gates open at 8.30a.m. Day ends at 5p.m. approx. Please note there is no supervision outside these times. Parents please remember that any young children accompanying a Pony Club member to activities must be supervised at all times.
This year again we would like to get a lot more parents involved in Camp. Help is needed each day with giving out morning snacks and at lunchtime supervising the children. We also need parents to help put up and take down fences, and the biggest job of the week is helping to clean up on the last day. The onus is on each member and parent to remove all their property brought into Camp and that the stables are empty of bedding, ready to be power hosed, which now has to be done after every Camp. Helping is a great chance to meet other parents, your children’s friends and for us all to get to know one another.
Please take all tack and valuables home each night!!!
Be weather conscious – members will need sun-cream on hot days and rain gear / dry clothes to change into if it’s wet – and possibly all of the above on any 1 day!
BBQ evening. All welcome! Please make sure tack / valuables are put away before going to BBQ.
Second hand sale: Clothing gear at camp BBQ. Drop items into camp kitchen clearly labelled with owner;s name and priced. Please collect any unsold items immediately after camp.
