Welcome to the Tipperary Hunt Pony Club. If you are new to pony club here are some helpful hints to get you started.
If attending your first pony club rally or training, below are a set of checklists which will help guide you through your preparation for the activity.
Remember all Pony Club official tack sheets can be viewed on the IPC homepage. www.irishponyclub.ie                        
If in doubt bring it anyway.

Basic Grooming Kit should have::
Hoof pick, dandy brush, body brush, comb, plastic/rubber curry comb, hoof oil, stable rubber.

To prepare your pony:                             
Grooming Kit                                            
Headcollar                                               
Lead rope
Saddle      
Bridle                                                       
Whip                              
Bucket                                                            
Numnah/ saddle cloth no logos,
plain dark colour or white
Sponge                                                  
Scraper                                                    
Tail bandage
Rugs if needed                                        
Boots if used                                            
Water if needed                                       
Studs if used                                           
Hay net if needed

    For the Rider:
    Pc card
    Helmet         
    Back Protector
    Gloves
    Pc jumper or plain navy jumper
    (No hoodies allowed)  
    Pc tie -available to purchase at rally
    Pc badge- available to purchase at rally
    Cream/beige/white jodphurs
    Riding boots (short or long must have a heel)
    Gaiters - black/brown polished leather only      
    Suede Chaps- under 12's only
    Hair should be neat and tied back,
    Hair net for competition
    Waterproof pull ups     
    Coat
     No earrings, jewellery or body piercings.
